Technology is only as powerful as the hands using it. I believe "sleeves-up" leadership is a prerequisite for innovation: get engaged, hands-on, understand the why and how of the work, this builds trust and the vision needed to optimize, whether at the floor level or in the cloud. Leadership's goal is to ensure advanced tools, like AI or IoT, help to solve real-world problems, skill-up the people who move the needle and build sustainability at every level.

Radical Clarity:

Be careful with over-engineering; complexity can be the enemy of execution. We must understand the up and downstream flows, know where foundational change actually happens, and then focus on finding the "signal in the noise." Once found, you will then have a roadmap for distilling thousands of moving parts into a clear, unified mission. We can then explain not only the why, but the how, which is critical and a natural byproduct of a shared vision.
